With the release of Watch Dogs, the first-person shooter franchise, and a slew of other video game-related news, it seems inevitable that we’ll be seeing a big influx of people playing video games at least once a week, especially during peak times.
In fact, it’s not just video games that are getting a lot of attention.
For example, the BBC recently reported that the number of people using smartphones as a primary source of entertainment has tripled since the release in May.
And with that in mind, a lot is happening on the gaming front, with the release this week of the first video game that we can claim to have played every day since the video game consoles were launched in 1985.
As we reported yesterday, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on November 10, which means that it was the first time we were able to play the game on these consoles.
And while it was obviously a good time to play Breath of a Wild, it was also the first game we’ve played since Nintendo last made an announcement about the launch of Nintendo Switch.
While we’re all looking forward to playing The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, we’ve got a lot more to look forward to.
This is just the first step in a massive expansion of The Legend and the Zelda series.
According to the official site, The Adventure of Link, Breath of Time, Hyrule Warriors and Breath of Sky have been added to the series’ official database, which we are sure many of you have played in the past.
We know that the Legend of Princess Zelda, Breath Of The Wild, and Hyrule Wars have also been added.
There are some other games in the game that were added as well, but we won’t spoil any of them for you.
There’s no shortage of Zelda titles on the Switch.
The Zelda: The Wind Waker HD has been added, and while that game was released back in 2015, it wasn’t until 2017 that the Wii U version was made available.
While it’s definitely possible that you’ve played Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on Switch already, we’d also like to say that The Legend, Breath, Hyrithi Wars, Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and Breath Of the Wild have all been available on Switch since the first console was released in Japan in October 2017.
The Legend of Breath of The Wild has also been on the Nintendo Switch since February 2018, and that game has been on Switch for the past year.
While Breath of Breath has been available in Japan since May 2018, The WindWaker HD was released on the Wii in February 2019 and the Legend was released for the Switch in March 2019.
Hyrule Warriors was released first on the PlayStation 4 in 2018 and was the last Zelda game available on the console until December 2018.
Hyrule Historia was released just two months later.
Hyrorin: Legend of the Great Hero and Hyrorin 2: Awakening were released on Switch in November 2018 and Hyritica was released the following month.
Breath of the Sun, Breath Warriors and Hyrulean Saga were also released on Nintendo Switch in February 2020.
It seems as though the Switch has a lot going for it, but it will be interesting to see how the rest of the gaming industry reacts to this announcement.
